A message from President Ryan Merrill
Dear OTSC Families,
We hope this message finds you well. The Fall 2025 season is coming to a close, and with just a few weeks left, we want to wish every team the best in tournament play. It has been a rewarding season filled with growth and development. As a club, OTSC has competed with heart and shown real progress. Some teams moved up in division and held their own, while all of our players demonstrated commitment, effort, and improvement on the pitch. That’s what matters most.
A huge thank you goes out to our coaches, board members, and volunteers who give so much of their time and energy. To our parents, thank you for your commitment and for making sure players are at practices and games. Your dedication keeps the momentum going and sets the tone for success.
SOCCER STARTS AT HOME
We encourage every player to continue working with the ball at home. Building a strong technical foundation is the key to confidence and creativity on the field.
Thank you for being part of the OTSC family. We’re proud of what our players accomplished this fall, and even more excited to see how they’ll grow in the seasons ahead. Together we’re building something special, one season at a time.
Sincerely,
Ryan Merrill
President, Old Town Soccer Club

Emmett stands out on the U8 team as the top scorer. He has excellent offensive instincts which he showcases with speed, endurance and agility. He spends the majority of his playing time on offense, but has proven to be very versatile when playing defense as well. — Coach Jody Hall

His vision and creativity allow him to deliver decisive passes that frequently lead to goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates. Averaging an impressive three goals per game, he combines finishing ability with intelligent movement off the ball. Special Player Focus
Braden has been an absolute pleasure to coach. While he has obvious physical gifts, he also has an excellent feel for the game. But what really sets him apart and puts him at another level is his competitive drive, day-to-day, that is as good as any player I’ve coached. He works hard to get better. He’s a great human being that I’m going to miss, on a human level, as well as a competitive level, when he graduates. — Ian Riddelbarger
Braden has been an absolute joy to coach. I’ve never seen a player with his level of drive, determination, and desire to compete. Every practice, every game, he gave nothing less than 100%. His father once told me that when Braden was little, he refused to come inside until he could land a flip on the trampoline. That story sums him up perfectly—focused, relentless, and committed to reaching his goals.
He’s also an exceptional teammate who lifts everyone around him. His positive attitude, encouragement, and love for the game make him a true leader on and off the field. — Ryan Merrell
